How verification works
Talintr checks two separate things, and labels each one clearly so you always know what you're looking at: whether an employer is a genuine visa sponsor, and whether a candidate's identity and professional registration have been reviewed. One doesn't stand in for the other.
Employer verification
Every employer on Talintr is checked before their jobs are shown. We label each one with a verification tier, and you can always see the evidence behind it by opening the badge on any job.
The employer appears on an official government register of licensed visa sponsors (for example, the UK Home Office register, or Canada's LMIA employer list). This is the strongest level of verification: it comes directly from the government body responsible for approving sponsors.
The employer holds a valid sponsor licence and we have direct evidence they are currently sponsoring workers — for example, a live job posting that names the visa route, or confirmation from the employer.
We don't yet have register or candidate evidence for this employer. Jobs from unverified sponsors are always labeled clearly and never mixed in with verified listings without this label.
Every verified job also shows a last checked date — the date we last confirmed the sponsor's status against the register. If a sponsor's licence is revoked or removed, their jobs stop appearing immediately.
Candidate vetting
Separately, some candidate profiles carry a Vetted badge. This is not a requirement to use Talintr — candidates can browse, apply, and be found in search without it — but it gives employers extra confidence when they see it.
We've checked the candidate's identity documents and reviewed their professional registration status. A Vetted badge means both of those checks are complete — it doesn't change what a candidate can do on the platform, and its absence doesn't mean anything is wrong; it just means we haven't reviewed those documents yet.
